July 2007

Here we are halfway through the year 2007 with some pretty exciting events coming our way. The summertime always brings out the tourists on our Monday nights at the Peppercorns Lounge. We will see just about every dance style imaginable. Whatever the style, it makes for great theater.

In September we look to North Myrtle Beach for SOS Fall Migration. It was at the 2005 Fall Migration that Don and Ann Dwyer won the $2000 second prize in the annual raffle. We now have the tickets for this year's raffle. They sell for $10 each, and the first prize is $7,500. If you are interested, see Sharon or yours truly for your winning ticket.

In October, the OBSC's world famous; Fish Fry will be held at beautiful Bells Island. You don't want to miss this one. In November, we will host our annual charity dance. The location has not been secured, but we will keep you posted.

The Christmas party will be held in the Peppercorns Lounge on Dec. l0th. Now, isn't it weird to be talking about Christmas while we are still in July!

Oh well, there it is. It looks like we have the makings of a very exciting half year. Congrats to our new class of shaggers. We look forward to seeing you guys and gals on the dance floor.
